B2B Marketing Consultant

Salary: Up to £50k per year,  plus £2-10k via bonus scheme

The role

After consistent growth since the company's launch in December 2023, Colman Rose is looking for the next hire in our team (🕺); an experienced B2B Marketing Consultant.

We're looking for someone who can fuse excellent account management skills with a consultative approach to B2B marketing & sales.

Colman Rose is a skin-in-the-game B2B growth consultancy specialising in working with SaaS & professional service companies - and this hire will be fundamental to our next stage. You’ll get the opportunity to support Colman Rose’s offering in an early stage of our growth journey, being given heavy input to craft what the future of the business looks like.

We try not to take ourselves too seriously (it’s just marketing after all) - but we care a hell of a lot about our clients and their outcomes.

So if generating leads, creating pipeline, and establishing (the right amount of!) friction with sales teams is your thing, whilst learning a tonne along the way in a relaxed, but serious environment - we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

  • Generating business growth for clients
    • Working with clients strategically and tactically to help grow their business (because after all, nothing else matters)
  • Client & project management
    • Working with clients on a day-to-day basis. It won’t be the sole focus of your role, but client communication across Slack, Teams, video conferencing, etc will be essential
    • Excellent project management skills. You’ll liaise with multiple stakeholders and being able to manage a few projects from start to finish simultaneously will be paramount
    • Reporting will also be part of the mix. That could be creating decks, writing emails, or ad hoc chats on the phone
  • Cultivating client strategy
    • Working with the Founder, team members & freelance resource, we’d want you to have thorough input and ownership of the strategies clients implement
    • That could include anything from creating ICPs and personas to devising ABM or content campaigns, through testing niche paid media channels - and everything in between. If it helps drive business growth - it’s on the table
  • Managing and executing campaigns
    • You won’t be expected to manage everything within a campaign (nobody can do everything!) - but being accountable for the successful rollout of campaigns is a must
    • You’ll work with employees, clients, freelancers and suppliers to get the job done
  • Have fun
    • You work to live - not the other way around
    • If you don’t get out of bed in the morning and think “B2B marketing and sales is fun” - this probably isn’t the job for you (and that’s OK!)

About you


Required experience


  • Experience working with SMEs in the B2B sector
  • Minimum 3 years experience at a specialist level
  • Demonstrable skill in at least 2 of the following areas:
    • ABM
    • Sales enablement
    • SEO
    • PPC
    • Content marketing
  • Strong interpersonal skills to connect with a diverse range of clients, freelancers and suppliers
  • Familiarity with HubSpot
  • Awareness of wider marketing strategies and campaigns

Desired experience


  • Agency or consultancy background preferred, ideally more than 1 year
  • Understanding of various sales methodologies such as BANT, MEDDIC/MEDDPICC, Challenger, etc
